Introduction

This Privacy Notice describes how www.geostellar.com and its associated pages, data, and calculators (the "Site") handle information.

This Notice is issued by AdvisorWorld.com Inc. for the Geostellar Site, and AdvisorWorld is responsible for the Site practices described here. "We," "us," and "our" mean AdvisorWorld.com Inc.. The Site does not currently offer user accounts or forms that ask visitors for names, phone numbers, or email addresses.

Information we handle

Standard technical information. When you visit the Site, hosting, content-delivery, security, and analytics providers may process information such as your Internet Protocol address, browser and device type, operating system, referring page, requested URL, timestamps, page interactions, and diagnostic or security events.

Calculator inputs and pseudonymous tool telemetry. Calculator inputs are used to produce the result shown in your browser. After a visitor changes a supported calculator, the Site may send a random, session-scoped identifier and coarse value ranges such as monthly-bill, system-cost, or electricity-rate buckets to measure tool use. If a full ZIP code is entered, tool telemetry keeps only its first three digits. It does not send the full ZIP or exact calculator values in that bucketed tool-run payload.

Do not enter names, account numbers, tax identifiers, payment information, or other sensitive personal information into Site calculators.

Information you send by email. If you contact us, we receive your email address and any name, message, attachments, or other information you choose to provide. Please do not email sensitive financial, tax, account, property, or identity information.

Analytics, browser storage, and session recordings

The Site uses PostHog to measure pages visited, referring sources, feature use, page exits, and web-performance signals so we can understand and improve the Site. Analytics runs only on the production domain. It uses session-scoped browser storage rather than cookies and associates activity with a random identifier that lasts for the current browser-tab session.

Session recording starts only outside the calculator subtree. The route-aware analytics controller stops recording when a visitor enters any calculator route, including through in-site navigation, and can resume after the visitor leaves that subtree. On other Site pages, recordings may capture clicks, scrolling, and changes to the visible page to help diagnose navigation and usability problems. Input values are masked, and console logs and canvas content are not recorded. We do not use advertising cookies or build interest-based advertising profiles.

How we use information

We use the information described above to:

• provide, maintain, secure, and improve the Site;
• calculate and display results requested by visitors;
• measure aggregate traffic and pseudonymous tool use;
• diagnose errors, performance issues, fraud, or abuse;
• respond to questions, corrections, and privacy requests;
• comply with law and protect our rights and users; and
• evaluate Site performance without advertising profiles.

We do not sell personal information.

When information may be disclosed

We may disclose information to service providers that support hosting, content delivery, security, analytics, tool telemetry, email, and technical operations. They may process information only as needed to provide those services and subject to their contractual and legal obligations.

We may also disclose information when required or permitted by law; to respond to a valid court order, subpoena, warrant, or regulatory request; to investigate abuse or protect rights, safety, and security; or as part of a merger, financing, reorganization, sale, or other change in corporate control, subject to applicable law.

Retention, safeguards, and international processing

Information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Notice, including security, troubleshooting, legal, and recordkeeping needs. Retention periods vary by information type and service provider.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information. No website, network, transmission, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Site infrastructure and service providers may process or store information in Canada, the United States, or other countries. Information processed outside your country may be subject to the laws and lawful-access requirements of the place where it is processed.

Children and minors

The Site is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the Site. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and, where appropriate, delete it.

Your choices and privacy requests

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you, or to raise a concern about our handling practices. These rights may be subject to legal exceptions. To make a request, email support@advisorworld.com with the subject line "GEOSTELLAR PRIVACY ENQUIRY." We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

Third-party links

The Site links to government agencies, utilities, research organizations, incentive databases, and other external websites. Their privacy practices are governed by their own notices, not this one. Review those notices before providing information to a third party.

Changes to this Notice

We may update this Notice as the Site or applicable requirements change. The version and last-updated date at the top of this page will change when a revision is posted, and material changes will be summarized below. Applicable privacy rights depend on your jurisdiction and remain subject to legal exceptions.
